Ukraine

To help the people of Ukraine....

....the Foundation mobilized and sent donations of $5,000 to each of these organizations on February 28:

  • Matthew 25 Ministries (working to provide personal care supplies and clothing to displaced Ukrainians)

  • Americares (Emergency Response Team is delivering medicine, medical supplies and emergency funding for essential healthcare services)

  • Save the Children (Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund is providing food, water, hygiene kits and cash assistance)

  • CARE (in partnership with an organizations in Ukraine, is providing emergency assistance, particularly to women, girls and the elderly--those likely to suffer the most in this crisis)

On March 21st, the FT Cares Foundation sent a check to the USO. There are 100,000 U.S. troops on the European continent. Thousands of our service members have been deployed to NATO countries to assist the Ukrainian people. The USO has been on the ground since before the invasion, and with this donation of $12,800 (raised by our donors and matched by the Foundation) our troops were supported in the following ways:

  • "Pop-Up" Call Centers: For safety reasons, deployed service members do not have cell phones or access to computers. The USO is providing these centers as a way for our troops to be able to stay in touch with their loved ones.

  • USO Care Packages, including Hygiene Kits and Snack Packs

  • USO2GO and portable boxed programs to help military units on the move

  • Thousands of blankets, hats and hand warmers, since it is still winter in Eastern Europe

  • Helping families of the deployed on the home front

The prayers of the FT Cares Foundation are with all the citizens of Ukraine, as well as our brave men and women in uniform. Open the PDF below for more information on the USO's Ukraine Support Update.
