September Impact

9/11 Memorials and Survivor Support

Since 9/11/2002, this world has seen many more terrorist attacks and senseless violence, including in America. Americans have been killed by terrorism on U.S. soil through all kinds of attacks, and 2017 saw some of the worst violence among our citizens.

While we dedicate September to memorials and ongoing support survivor (and children who lost a parent), the Foundation is mindful of the ways tragedy has struck so many in the years since 9/11.

We consider it important to offer help and to donate to first responders and survivor groups, as we pray for peace and the end to the hatreds that cause these kinds of tragedies.

September is our month dedicated to "9/11 Memorials and Survivor Support".

As Colin Powell told Americans in the aftermath of that terrible day, “You can be sure that the American spirit will prevail over this tragedy.” And although we will never forget, since that tragic day the American spirit HAS prevailed. As Rudy Giuliani said, “The attacks of September 11 were intended to break our spirit. Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified. We feel renewed devotion to the principles of political, economic and religious freedom, the rule of law and respect for human life. We are more determined than ever to live our lives in freedom.”
